Terms of Service

Effective date: September 5, 2026

Welcome to Symphony. These terms describe how the service works and what we ask of every caller. They are written to be read, not skimmed, and they are short on purpose.

1. What Symphony is, and what it is not

Symphony Support Network, LLC ("Symphony") provides supportive dialogue, active listening, and life-decompression conversations by phone. You can choose an AI Supporter, a clearly disclosed artificial intelligence persona such as Augusta, Linda, Zahra, Ada, or Louise, or a Live Empathetic Listener, a real person trained in non-clinical active listening.

Symphony is not therapy, medical care, or crisis intervention, and it is not a substitute for any of them. Our Supporters and Listeners provide emotional support, not professional advice. Nothing said during a conversation constitutes legal, medical, financial, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and you remain fully responsible for your own decisions.

2. Who Symphony serves

Symphony is designed for women aged 25 and older. You confirm that you meet this requirement when you purchase a conversation.

3. Purchases, PINs, and your time

Conversations are purchased on our purchase page. After payment, a PIN arrives at the email address you provide. Your PIN is your access key, not your identity: it tells our phone line that a conversation has been reserved, and nothing more.

If you misplace your PIN, write to help@symphonysupportnetwork.com from the email address you used at purchase and a fresh PIN will be sent to that same address. The old PIN stops working the moment the new one is issued, and your remaining time stays exactly as it was.

As your conversation nears its end, you will receive a gentle reminder. If you would like to continue, you can purchase another conversation before the current one ends so your conversation continues without interruption.

4. The complimentary conversation

First-time callers may try one complimentary 3-minute conversation with an AI Supporter. It is offered once per caller, there is no commitment, and no purchase is required.

5. Consent at the start of every call

Every call opens with a short spoken notice. For AI conversations, it tells you plainly that you are speaking with an AI. For every conversation, it tells you that a written transcript of the call is kept. The call does not proceed unless you agree. What we keep, for how long, and who can see it is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Conduct

Symphony is a kind place, and we keep it that way. Harassment, threats, explicit romantic or sexual solicitation, abusive language, and attempts to exchange personal identifying information are prohibited during any session. Where possible, a caller will receive a verbal warning before a call is ended for a violation; severe violations may end a call immediately. Sessions ended because of a confirmed violation are not eligible for a refund. If you believe a call was ended in error, you may request a review within 48 hours at help@symphonysupportnetwork.com.

7. Crisis situations

Symphony is not a crisis center or suicide prevention hotline. If you express thoughts of self-harm or suicide during a call, your Supporter or Listener will pause the conversation to share crisis resources. If you are in crisis, please contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or your local emergency services directly.

8. Refunds and cancellations

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy is published on its own page and is part of these terms.

9. No guaranteed outcome

Symphony and its Supporters and Listeners do not guarantee any particular outcome and are not liable for actions taken based on the content of a conversation.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
